Tracey Miller-Tomlinson, an associate professor of English at NMSU, has been named Faculty Fellow for the Center for Undergraduate Research and Creative Activity, housed at NMSU’s William Conroy Honors College.
As Faculty Fellow, Miller-Tomlinson will help develop the newly created center and promote undergraduate student engagement with the research and creative activities of the university.
Along with her experience in teaching and advising, Miller-Tomlinson has worked with student researchers across the university as a former Honors College associate dean and university fellowships adviser. She served as director of undergraduate studies in NMSU’s Department of English for two years, and director of graduate studies for nine years.
“NMSU’s Center for Undergraduate Research and Creative Activity will serve as a resource for students as they apply their learning through independent research and creative arts, and for the dedicated faculty researchers who collaborate with and advocate for them,” Miller-Tomlinson says.
