In only its second year, the NMSU Gratitude Walk/Run featured 435 participants for the family-friendly event, which included a 1-mile fun run and timed 5K race across NMSU’s Las Cruces campus. The Marketing and Communications office at NMSU hosted the event in October 2023 with more than 50 student volunteers aiding the runners and walkers. First-, second- and third-place winners for the 5K race were recognized.
