Aggies everywhere now have a new front-row seat to what’s happening at NMSU and across Aggie Nation. Launched in spring 2026 by the NMSU Foundation, the Always an Aggie LIVE! webinar series is designed to keep alumni informed, inspired and connected. Each session spotlights the programs, traditions and leaders shaping today’s Aggie experience and tomorrow’s momentum.
The inaugural session in February 2026 featured Director of Athletics Joe Fields, who shared his vision for the future of Aggie Athletics, and more than 85 participants from 16 different states joined.
“I loved having a bite-size snapshot of NMSU activities. Living out of state, it is hard to get as much interaction as I crave,” says Lucia Konrath ’00, who joined the webinar from Arizona.
“The Sound of Aggie Pride” was the second webinar in May 2026 shining a spotlight on NMSU’s Pride of New Mexico Marching Band. The featured speaker was retired Army Sgt. Maj. Mike Cano ’93, former leader of the U.S. Army Herald Trumpets.
The series continues in July and October 2026, with speakers to be announced.
Each webinar will be an opportunity to connect with fellow alumni, gain insights from NMSU leadership and celebrate the programs, traditions and people who make NMSU truly unforgettable.
“The Always an Aggie LIVE! webinar series is an opportunity and space designed to inform, inspire and create meaningful connections for our Aggie community. We’re excited to be able to connect with Aggies across the globe in such a meaningful way,” says Mayra Marquez, assistant vice president of alumni relations and annual giving.
