NMSU Ballet Folklórico hosted its first kids camp in September 2025. Faith Sanchez and the camp participants performed alongside Ballet Folklórico and the Pride of New Mexico Marching Band at the NMSU Hispanic Heritage football game against Tulsa. Campers learned folklórico basics and choreography, including NMSU-specific choreography to “El Son de La Negra,” from members of the Ballet Folklórico team at the two-day camp.
